Can we give a round of applause to Sunday’s!? It’s one of my favorite days because it’s a day of family, relaxing and preparation. 🌟🌟🌟 It’s the day I get my head clear. The day there isn’t 5000 other things that have to be done. PTL 🙌
It feels good. It relaxes me to have freedom of schedule, and no “have to” agenda. ☁️☁️☁️
One of my Sunday rituals is to reflect on the past week and give myself a gold star and see where I could have done better. This week my gold star was taking time for me. Somethings that weren’t so awesome last week for me we’re about time management, and it resulted in a podcast not getting live (there will be on today, promise). Last Sunday I didn’t do this exercise, and it showed in my week. I mismanaged my time by being too concerned with stuff that didn’t really matter, and not on what’s most important. So to that I say: I will do better! Starting today, by making a plan for the week. And trying to get a jump on anything I can today.
Here’s the questions I will ask myself today:
🎯What is the most important thing that needs to happen this week?
🎯What can I do today to help get the ball rolling in that direction today, in preparation?
🎯What went well this last week?
🎯What didn’t go so swell and how can I avoid doing that again?
I like using the same journal for this, or a specific app only for Sunday check ins. It helps to go back and really identify behaviors or habits you might love or need to kick to the curb.
Do you have a Sunday ritual? Have you ever done a weekly check in? Or given yourself a report card? What’s your score for the week? My grade is in the comments 🌟🌟🌟 Be good. Do good.
I love this quote for a Sunday, and for reflection... because we can all do good, and be good, no matter how hard the week was, or how much we got done. And that’s an easy win🙌. 💙xx Lexi
