One of my goals this year was to maintain a healthier lifestyle for me and my family. I wanted to nourish our bodies with whole foods and prioritize healthy ingredients over buying clothes or processed foods. My biggest trigger has been always sweets (I love having dessert after a meal). Instead of punishing myself for my sweet tooth, I’ve found some inspiration (and extra time) to keep up with my cravings with some healthier options 🤤 Little by little, I have been cutting out what doesn’t serve my body anymore and it feels so gooood! This has been so far my best attempt to make a raw cheesecake.

Carbs are delicious and, personally, I don’t discriminate. 🤣But, for one of my clients who struggled with trying to eat “perfectly”, like I used to, carbs made her anxious. 😬She felt like she could only allow herself to eat things that were “healthy” like sweet potatoes 🍠and Ezekiel bread. Now, I love those two as much as the next gal💁‍♀️, but when you tell yourself that’s ALL you can have your body is going to want to rebel and eat an entire loaf of white bread. 🍞Seriously, it’s happened to me! And it was happening to my client, too. She was frustrated that she was craving all of the “bad” carbs, she felt like something was wrong with her. 😤Why did she have ZERO willpower? . During her time in my 1:1 No Food Rules coaching program we redefined what healthy eating looks like. We actually scheduled in times for her to eat things like white bread and refined, buttery crackers😲. This allowed her to normalize these foods and remove the “bad” label causing her to crave them. Guess what? She found she didn’t even LIKE THEM! It was biology that was causing her to crave them, not a lack of willpower. When she realized this she was able to free herself from the constant thoughts of the carbs she “couldn’t” have and the guilt associated with them. If she wants to have a warm dinner roll when out on date night, she can- and WILL, but she no longer feels the pull to eat the entire basket. 🙌🏻THAT, my dears, is what it’s like to live the No Food Rules lifestyle! .
